Generally, you'll need: a valid Nigerian passport (with at least 6 months validity), a recent passport photograph, your NIN (National Identification Number) verification slip, proof of accommodation, travel itinerary, and financial evidence. When you select your destination country and visa type on the Asfaar platform, the system automatically generates a personalized checklist of all required documents specific to your application. You can upload these documents securely through your dashboard before your biometric appointment.

While most of the application process is online (registration, form completion, document upload, and payment), you must visit an Asfaar biometric center once to provide your fingerprints and biometric photograph. This in-person visit typically takes 15 minutes or less. You can book your preferred appointment date, time, and location through the platform. Our centers are located in major cities across Nigeria for your convenience. After your biometric capture, all subsequent updates and communications will be handled digitally through your dashboard.
